In a post on Twitter James Cameron congratulates Kevin Feige for passing Titanic‘s global box office numbers and becoming the 2nd biggest movie of all time!

Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame earned $2.27 billion in box office sales so far, soaring past Titanic‘s $2.19 billion record.
The Avengers is gaining on Avatar which is the highest grossing movie of all time, and I expect within the next week or so we should see if propel past the 2.8 Billion dollar mark left by Avatar.

The fact that it passed Titanic is just unreal & something the Marvel team should be incredibly proud of! This movie received a lot of hype, but unlike most movies that do, the hype didn’t die down. It actually grew more! I haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame yet, but I will once I can watch it On Demand on my TV! #DisneyVacayGiveaway
