Guests Can Soon “Suit Up” To Join Spider-Man On Adventures in Disneyland And Disneyland Paris

There’s a new interactive and immersive experience coming to Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Paris, WEB, the Worldwide Engineering Brigade.  Founded by Tony Stark, the WEB will develop advancements in super-powered technology and include new enhancements to Spider-Man’s suit.

This experience will be a part of the Avengers Initiative, a new Avengers Headquarters that includes new attractions and experiences in the Marvel Universe.

Scot Drake, Creative Executive of the Marvel Global Portfolio for Disney remarks:

“Both parks will feature an exciting new attraction where guests of all ages can join the heroes in action. We are expanding our story universe by creating a new organization, the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, to be our setting for this experience. Though WEB is grounded in classic characters like Peter Parker, it is an organization that we can all be a part of – one that invites us to engage with these iconic heroes like never before.”

Guests can be “recruited” to suit up with Spider-Man and test out the new technology themselves.  “Spidey” himself will be on hand debuting the new suit design as well.  You’ll see him swinging through the new lands as well.  Disney partnered with Ryan Meinerding, the Head of Visual Development at Marvel Studios, who worked on Spider-Man’s suits in the feature films.

Marvel at Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong Disneyland is also getting a new Marvel attraction called Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle!  And it’s opening next week – March 31st!  Guests will join Ant-Man and The Wasp in S.H.I.E.L.D.’s state-of-the-art vehicle to fight against Arnim Zola and his army of Hydra swarm-bots in a heroic battle.

Soon guests will be able to live their own adventures alongside their favorite Super Heros.  Stay tuned for more information, like opening dates for these exciting developments!
