The 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts will be starting January 18th! Woot, Woot! This popular event will provide guests with music, food, and artwork to admire through February 25th. With 13 different food studios, everyone will have something to enjoy!
This year, however, the Disney on Broadway Concert Series will expand to all seven days! Which means, for Broadway fans like me, guests can enjoy the theatrical songs all 39 days of the event!! Different pairs of Broadway stars will take the American Gardens Theatre stage to sing favorite, popular songs from award-winning Disney on Broadway productions.
Included with park admissions, guests can enjoy concert series at 5:30 pm, 6:45 pm, and 8 pm nightly! Guests can also participate in the Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package at participating Epcot restaurants, which guarantees show seating. Package reservations must be purchased separately.
With each lineup pair rotating regularly, performers this year will include:
• Kerry Butler-“Beauty and the Beast” and Kevin Massey-“Tarzan”
• Meredith Inglesby-“The Little Mermaid” and Steve Blanchard-“Beauty and the Beast”
• Arielle Jacobs and Adam Jacobs-“Aladdin”
• Heidi Blickenstaff-“Freaky Friday” and Gavin Lee-“Mary Poppins”
• Ashley Brown-“Mary Poppins” and Josh Strickland-“Tarzan”
• Kissy Simmons and Alton Fitzgerald White-“The Lion King”
While guests wait for the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts concert series to begin, they can fill up on creative food and beverages from 13 food studios. Returning guests will find an expanded selection of delicious new tastes to try! At the Artist Table guests can find beef wellington with mushroom bordelaise, fennel cream and roasted baby vegetables. At the Painter’s Palate guests will be able to find smoked salmon and cream gateau with egg yolk cream, paddlefish caviar and microherbs. At Pop Eats! Guests can sample almond frangipane cake with raspberry and chocolate. Lastly at Cuisine Classique guests will find a red wine-braised short rib with parsnip puree, broccolini, baby tomatoes and aged balsamic.
As guests browse around the world they can also mingle with fellow art collectors as they browse all the amazing collections for sale around the park. Guests can step inside works of art as they pretend they were apart of the original artwork, attend a variety of workshops led by professionals as they learn different artistic techniques, help create a wall mural along World Showcase Plaza and more!!
There is always so much to do and see at Epcot as it is. Seriously, don’t be afraid to bring your kids to this park, there is something for everyone here. But the park transformers into a whole other world during events like the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts. Will you be visiting this year?
