"Bao" Disney Pixar's Latest Short Is Now Available For Streaming

“Bao” Disney Pixar’s Latest Short Is Now Available For Streaming! Stop what you’re doing! Do yourself a favor and take eight minutes out of your day! “Why,” you ask? Well, you can now stream Disney Pixar’s latest short, “Bao!”

“What’s Bao?” (Probably your next question.)

Bao was the last short released along with Disney Pixar’s Incredibles 2 this past year. It immediately drew tons of attention given it’s “different” take on a mother’s relationship with her son! By alluding to the evolving events of parenthood as your children grow, through the use of food and culture…even with its confusion…Bao has been nominated for several awards, including making Oscar short-lists.

So, as we said…do yourself a favor and check out the full short below:

Through the use of Chinese culture, watch as a mother gets a mulligan at parenthood while dealing with an empty nest. Adorably relatable for parents, this unique story-line is unmatched. It’s quite literally one of our favorite shorts to date. Whether you agree or disagree, be sure to take delight in the wonderful detail and utilization of lighting, culturally appropriate music, and food (something we can all relate too).
