If you’re a fan of the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom, you’re going to want to keep reading. Parade goers will be delighted to know that the fan favorite will be presented twice on Saturday, December 15th. At 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., EST guests will be able to enjoy a double dose of Mickey and Minnie, costumed cast members, and eye-popping floats!
Of course, as a double performance of the parade takes extra time, some other common events will be impacted. Don’t worry, however, we’re here to keep you in the know:
- There will be no 11 a.m. performance of the Main Street Trolley Show
- Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire: 10:25 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 3:15 p.m., and 4:15 p.m. with no 11 a.m. performance
- The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History: 10 a.m., 10:35 a.m., 12 p.m., 12:35 p.m., 1:05 p.m., 3 p.m., 3:40 p.m., and 4:15 p.m.
As far as this being a permanent fixture…no, it isn’t! So no need to worry. But if catching the parade is something you’ve always wanted to do, Saturday is as good an opportunity as any!
If you’re unfamiliar with the parade, usually held daily, the parade begins Frontierland and ends down MainStreet U.S.A. Some of your favorite characters add a bit of magic alongside Mickey and company. Included are some hard to find favorites such as Smee and Captain Hook. If you’re a villains fan, don’t worry! There’s a healthy representation of those classic Disney antagonists as well.
The parade (which debuted in 2014) has been a fan favorite ever since, and you can believe that we will be there early to get our spot for both showings this Saturday!
