Meet the Women Behind the Disney Princesses

Disney Fans were elated when it was announced that the Disney Princesses would make an appearance in the soon to be released “Ralph Breaks the Internet”, a sequel to fan favorite, “Wreck It Ralph”. Disney has given us a sneak peek through the trailers at the princesses spending time together, but at the Ralph Breaks the Internet premiere most of the talented women behind the Disney Princesses got to spend a little time together on the blue carpet at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

At the premiere were actresses:

  • Irene Bedard (Pocahontas)
  • Kate Higgins (Aurora)
  • Jennifer Hale (Cinderella)
  • Jodi Benson (Ariel)
  • Mandy Moore (Rapunzel)
  • Sarah Silverman (Vanellope)
  • Ming-Na Wen (Mulan)
  • Paige O’Hara (Belle)
  • Linda Larkin (Jasmine)
  • Auli’i Cravalho (Moana)
  • Pamela Ribon (Snow White)

Though they were missed at the premiere, you will also hear the talented voices of: Anika Noni Rose (Tiana), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), and Kelly Macdonald (Merida).Vanellope first meets the Disney Princesses when she accidentally glitches into a secret lounge where the Princesses seem to be staying.

Vanellope first meets the Disney Princesses when she accidentally glitches into a secret lounge where the Princesses seem to be staying. They question Vanellope in a very meta conversation about if she is a princess or not based off of their experiences and see if she shares similar qualities to the other princesses. We get to see the parallels between a few of their stories, and in a way watch Disney make a little fun of themselves during that conversation. At first they are still dressed head to toe in their formal attire, but later we see them let their hair down and dress much more comfortably as they swap stories and adventures with one another.

We will also get to see other Disney Characters including: Nick Wilde (Zootopia), Eeyore (Winnie the Pooh), Stormtroopers (Star Wars), and  Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story). Though there will be many more Disney Characters to make an appearance in the film, we are excited to see what these mighty women have in store when Ralph Breaks the Internet premieres on November 21, 2018.
