Disney’s Aulani Resort More Than Meets the Eye

Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa in  Ko Olina Hawaii has so much to tell you. Stories are woven into the plants, carved into the rocks, and the very fabrics that surround you.

For instance the small shrubs with blueberries in Waikolohe Valley. This small plant can be used to dye kapa. The people of old Hawaii used for this to make clothing and even bedding. Aulani also has one of the world’s largest collections of contemporary Hawaiian art. There is a painted mural around the entry that depicts Hawaii’s history ranging from the early Polynesians to modern times.
