The Pig & The Poke
Welcome the newest booth to the Food & Wine Classic lineup – The Pig & The Poke. Guests will take a culinary expedition to the Pacific in the Hawaiian – Luau themed area. Having lived in Hawaii, this was the booth I was the most excited to sample!
Tuna Poke
With one bite, I started having flashbacks to surfing at Barber’s Point Beach on the North Shore of Oahu. Using the finest Hawaiian Yellowfin Tuna, this tuna poke is a home run!
Kalua Pork
There is nothing I love more than Kalua Pork. That being said, if ordered somewhere besides on the islands, it can be a huge disappointment. From the look of how they cooked the pig, I knew I was in for a treat. The Kalua Pork was absolute perfection, and I appreciated all the care they took into making this dish!
Carnival Corner – Funfetti Fried Oreo
As soon as I saw FRIED OREO, I was screaming with joy inside! Lovingly surrounded in a funfetti dough and accompanied with chocolate ganache to dip, the freshly fried Oreo is spectacular!
Cib’s Smokehouse
Cib’s Smokehouse will be bringing that down-home lip-smacking barbeque to guests. This booth is always a favorite!
Roasted & Smoked Iberico Pork
With homemade Nashville Sweet BBQ sauce, the roasted & smoked Iberico Pork just melted. It was my first time eating that part of the pig (collar) and it was yummy!
Todd English’s Bluezoo
When you think of seafood and Disney World, only one restaurant comes to mind – Todd English’s Bluezoo. I know I was excited to see what they had created.
Maine Lobster Roller
“Toto we are not in Disney anymore!” The brown butter poached Maine Lobster Roll makes you feel like you are up in Maine. Be sure to add this on your list if you are a seafood lover!
Chinatown
Chinatown is a fan favorite booth that brings far east flavors to life. I know it is one of mine!
Yu Chen’s Crispy Duck Steamed Bun
I may or may not have asked for extra crispy duck in my bun. It is just SO good. Honestly, it was hard not to eat more than one sandwich LOL!
Seminars – Craft Cocktails, Wine Blending & It’s Better to “Wine” in Italian
With ten seminars to choose from this year, there is something for everyone. The hands-on educational seminars are taught by the resort’s award-winning food and beverage team. Remember space is limited, and they require a separate ticket.
Carnival Corner – Games
Be sure to try your hand at the games offered in the Carnival Corner area this year. Donate to play, and then all proceeds will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.
Sunday Bubbles Brunch
Sunday Bubbles Brunch will take place Oct. 28th 9:30 am – 1 pm at Il Mulino New York Trattoria. A lavish menu of extraordinary dishes will be featured, and J Vineyards and Winery will be providing the “bubbles.” Do not forget to purchase your ticket for this event. You do not want to miss out!
