After nearly a decade of bringing Captain America to life on the big screen Chris Evans tweets out a heart breaking response to the wrapping up of Avengers 4: “Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”
In 2011, Evans played Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger as his first debut in the Marvel Universe. In 2012 he reprises his role in The Avengers and began our love affair with the Avenger team and their on screen chemistry. The film set forth a whole franchise that spun off blockbusters like Thor, Black Panther, and AntMan.
While we are happy Avengers 4 is wrapped, the thought of life with out Cap in it is almost too much! Someone get the tissues ready… Avengers 4 is going to be a heart string tugger! The final(maybe?) Avengers movie is set to his the big screen in 2019.
