SeaWorld Orlando Infinity Falls Hard Hat Event Photo Tour

Infinity Falls

SeaWorld Orlando held its Infinity Falls hard hat event this week and we were on hand to check out the progress.  Infinity Falls will provide guests with a brand new experience, unlike anything we have seen before.  Here is our photo tour of the hard hat event.

First, and foremost, is the intriguing vertical lift.  This lift concept will take you up 30-feet to the top of the ride.  Once your custom watercraft transporter reaches the top, you will drop 40-feet to the depths below.  Infinity Falls, when it opens, will be the only water ride in the state of Florida with a vertical lift.  Even more impressive, Infinity Falls will feature the tallest water raft ride drop in the world!

Another important piece of information is the loading platform located at the ride entry.  This design is specifically focused on allowing easy access for guests with disabilities.  A portion of the platform will move left to right to allow for these guests to enter the ride raft.

Next up is the ride itself.  As you meander along the waterway in your watercraft, you will have views of the park, a waterfall and a flamingo pond.  Although we feel pretty certain that, on our first ride, our eyes will be looking up at the sky towards the vertical lift.

In addition to the Infinity Falls water raft ride, the Waterway Grill will provide a space to enjoy a meal and beer on tap.  This building will also feature an Annual Pass Member’s Lounge.

Another fun addition to this area are these lovely totem poles featuring reptiles, birds and amphibians.

Lastly, Infinity Falls has a ways to go before opening.  As you can see in the photos above, this area is an active construction zone.  There appears to be work going on in relation to all aspects of the ride.  The Whitewater Supply building will be a shop that features items for Adventurers such as canteens and hiking supplies to go along with the theming of the ride.

Are you ready for a new Adventure?  SeaWorld Orlando did not release a projected opening.  They did, however, confirm that they plan to open Infinity Falls at the very end of Summer 2018.  Stay tuned to our Chip and Company Facebook page for additional updates.
