It’s the question everyone has been asking: “When is Toy Story Land opening?” It was announced at the D23 Expo in July that the new Land at Hollywood Studios would be opening Summer 2018. While a specific date hasn’t been announced by Disney other than the Summer 2018 timeframe, we are hoping that today’s release of D23 events scheduled for 2018 might give us some idea.
Let’s take a closer look at D23’s events for 2018:
As you can see there is an event on the schedule for D23 Members to visit Toy Story Land. This event is sandwiched between an event in May and yet a few more events at the end of June. Does that maybe mean Toy Story Land will be opening shortly after the event on May 25 in Walt Disney’s hometown of Marceline, Missouri?
It’s also important to note that Pandora – The World of Avatar also opened this past May on Memorial Day Weekend.
With testing starting to begin on the Land’s main attraction, the Slinky Dog Coaster, it seems like things are moving along nicely. Hopefully, this means we will be able to take a ride on the new roller coaster this Memorial Day Weekend!
