Epcot’s 35th Anniversary is Sunday October 1st! For guests celebrating the 1982 opening on October 1, therse is a special “I Was There” merchandise collection.

“For this collection, we honored Epcot’s rich heritage by including Figment from the Journey Into Imagination attraction on all of the ‘I Was There’ items. He’s been at the park since the early days of Epcot and has delighted many guests throughout the years. This retro-inspired collection complements the other 35th anniversary merchandise guests will find all year long.”
Seven items have been designed for release on October 1st. A special t-shirt created for Annual Passholders is also included in this exclusive collection.
You’ll find these items at a “pop-up” pop up shop near the Art of Disney location in Future World. This shop will be the only place you will find the exclusive “I was There” collection.
These items will only be available at the pop up shop, and won’t be found on the Shop Disney Parks app, or even the online store.
The rest of the Epcot 35th Anniversary collection will be available at various retail locations within Epcot towards the end of September.
