There’s been a lot of Disney rumors making the rounds this month in the lead in to the D23 convention happening in Anaheim in just a few short days. From new theme park expansions to Star Wars themed resorts, we thought we’d heard it all. But there is one rumor that started to hit social media this week that has us feeling amused but skeptical.
If you’ve been at an “adults only” get together over the past few months, chances are someone brought along a Cards Against Humanity Deck. The premise is simple, there are two decks of cards, black and white. One player asks a question from a black card and everyone else tries to outdo their friends by laying down the most provocative, raunchiest or rudest white card.
The game can be pretty provocative which is why the internet has blown up when the makers of Cards Against Humanity supposedly revealed on social media this week that a Disney version could be in the works. The claim was supposedly made on Facebook but was then promptly taken down.
However an Instagram user reported nabbing this screenshot before the official post was removed:
Only time will tell if Cards Against Humanity and Disney will unite to create what will undoubtedly be the talked about game of the year or whether it is just a hoax. Regardless, you’ll probably never look at some of your favorite Disney films the same way again.
