Spring is just around the corner and Disney foodies will be delighted to know that the end of Winter means a new array of tasty springtime treats at the parks over the next few months. Disney released a sneak peek this week of some of the fantastic new bites that will be on offer. Here’s your first look at these delightful snacks.
Beauty and the Beast-themed Treats – To celebrate the new opening of the live action version of Beauty and the Beast, Disney has created a special Beauty and the Beast-inspired cupcake which you’ll find at the Main Street Confectionery. Over at Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs you can celebrate the film by tucking into an Enchanted Rose cake. Hollywood Studios will also be offering a themed cupcake of their own which will be served up at ABC Commissary, The Trolley Car Cafe, Rosie’s All-American Cafe and Catalina Eddies. Over to the West Coast, at Disneyland, the newly themed, Red Rose Taverne (formerly Village Haus) and Maurice’s Treats will be serving up their own version of The Grey Stuff (see pictured).
New Joffrey’s kiosk to open at Magic Kingdom with exclusive specialty latte. A new coffee kiosk will be springing up in Tomorrowland giving coffee-lovers a chance to refuel without having to head back over to Main Street. Joffrey’s Revive will open in march and will serve up the same coffee, tea and espresso beverages that have made the chain a Disney crowd-pleaser. Exclusive to this location will also be the decadent S’mores Latte which will feature artisan-roasted espresso, chocolate sauce, sweet marshmallow syrup and will be topped with whipped cream, graham cracker sprinkles and more marshmallows. The drink will come in both hot and iced versions. Yes please!
Triple Chocolate Treats at Disneyland Resort – The theme of March’s gourmet candy offerings over at Disneyland Resort is Triple Chocolate. Guests have an opportunity to sample both a candy apple triple threat as well as a crispy treat. Both snacks feature milk chocolate, semi sweet chocolate, white chocolate chips and dark and white chocolate drizzle. These items are a chocolate lovers dream come true and can be found at Candy Palace (Main Street U.S.A), Trolly Treats (Disney California Adventure) and Marceline’s Confectionery (Downtown Disney). But act fast on April 1st, they’re gone.
Jumbo Pretzels Now Available at Germany Pavilion – Pretzel’s that are meant to be eaten family style are now available at Sommerfest, Germany Bierline and the Germany Pretzel Cart at Epcot’s World Showcase. So take a bite and pass it around.
Chuck Wagon Food Truck now Open at Fort Wilderness – Disney World’s Resort & Campground debuted a new food truck this week in the form of an RV. The kiosk, known as the Chuck Wagon is now serving up a range of rustic goodies from the Smoked Beef Brisket Sandwich to the Fort Wilderness Smoked Pork Belly and Tillamook Cheeseburger. The kiosk can be found in the Meadows Recreation Area and is open from 5 to 9pm on weekdays and 11am – 9pm on weekends.
