Ever since the information was released that you would be able to use the My Disney Experience App to make additional FastPass+ choices after you used your first 3 choices instead of using a Kiosk at that park, guests have anxiously been awaiting the actual rollout date for this new feature. We’re excited to say that it looks like April 10th is going to be that day! According to Kenny the Pirate and WDW News Today, Sunday, April 10th is going to be the day the new changes come into effect.
Not only will the additional FastPass choice changes go into effect, but there will other great enhancements to the FastPass selection protocol as well!
Now instead of having to choose your 3 tiered ride choices, and take the “best option” where they choose the times for you, you can now select one ride at a time (instead of having to select all 3 ride choices at once) and select a specific time for that ride. Other new features include the ability to remove individual guests from a FastPass+ reservation and the ability to cancel a single FastPass+ attraction reservation instead of all of them.
How do you feel about this new set of changes? We think it’s great, and will keep you posted if more details arise!

Great ideas. It will make changing your fast pass easier as things change while you are on vacation. The wifi wasn’t as bad my last trip as it had been in the past. Now as long as Disney keeps the second fast pass check prior to getting on attractions this will be great. Getting rid of the secondary check point will lead to arguments, and longer fast pass lines with guests who will just jump the line while in the que.
This is a great idea and if Disney will improve the spotty wifi service in the parks this could be a fantastic guest service. My experience in October was that it simply would not load the app in the parks. I played with it a lot at home before i went to Disney so I would be familiar with it and be a pro at navigating it and at my home it works great and loads fast. Inside the park it did not.
