According to WDW News Today, the Disability Access Service card is now digital. I had a feeling this would happen at some point. Hopefully this will make things a bit easier. The big change happened today.
If you need this service you and your party will have to go to Guest Services, so they can sync up all the info on everyone’s MagicBand. If you want to add someone else later on then you would have to return to Guest Services to add them.
After you have gone through that process you can head to the attraction of your choice, check with a cast member, they will scan your band, they will then ask who attached to the DAS will be boarding the attraction. You will then be given a return time. When you go back at your return time everyone will have their MagicBand scanned just like a regular Fastpass.
This is just another step Disney is taking to avoid further fraud within the system. Now that everything will be digital no one can have more than one at a time.
Stay tuned I am sure there will be more details about this as they implement this new version of the Disability Access Service card.
What do you think?
Wishing you Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust
