Throughout the Disney parks you will find several Face Painting Stations. Recently I took my son to get his face painted at WDW and wanted to share some Tips & Tricks with you to help make your experience more magical!
1.Each face painting station offers the same selection of about a dozen faces you can choose from. These are your only choices and range from flowers and princess inspired faces, to dogs and pirates.
2. You should expect to pay around $15 for the face. We chose a Pirate face that was $12, but others ran a little more or about the same.
3.You can tip the artist if you feel they did an especially good job!
4.The actual painting of the face takes about 5-10 minutes and is very quick! I was able to get my little guys face painted outside of Mouse Gear and make it to Akershus for dinner with time to spare!
5.My biggest concern was how easy the paint was to get off. Let me tell you, this is magic paint! It comes off easily with soap and water, or just water really! The magic is that it does not smudge or come off well when your fidgety kid wipes their face!
I think face painting is a great way to let kids get into the spirit of Disney without shelling out the big bucks at Bibbidi Bobbidi or Pirates League. We got tons of compliments!
