Magic Kingdom Receives First Halloween Decorations
Spooky season is right around the corner, and Magic Kingdom is officially getting ready for the return of autumn magic! With less than a week until opening night, the first signs of the 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have been installed at both the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC) and the Magic Kingdom main entrance.
These new promotional displays are a clear signal that full fall decor across Main Street, U.S.A. is set to transform the park over the coming days.

Guests arriving at Walt Disney World will spot the newly installed promotional signage near transit hubs at the TTC—including near the monorail station and ferryboat loading areas—as well as outside the park’s front gates.
Framed by classic fall accents like hay bales and pumpkin buckets, the displays highlight Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween attire, encouraging guests to lock in their tickets for the after-hours event.
Historically, once these entry signs appear, full park decorations—including the fan-favorite pumpkin wreaths along Main Street, U.S.A., themed scarecrows on Town Square, and autumn garlands—begin popping up overnight.

This year’s celebration sets a historic milestone for Walt Disney World: Friday, August 7, 2026 will be the earliest opening night in the history of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, beating out the previous record of August 9 set back in 2024!
Running on select nights through October 31, 2026, the separately ticketed event offers exclusive access to favorite entertainment and Halloween offerings:
- Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade: Featuring classic Disney villains, Haunted Mansion grave diggers, and iconic floats.
- Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular: Jack Skellington hosts a night of fireworks and projections over Cinderella Castle.
- Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular: The Sanderson Sisters take over the Castle Forecourt Stage with Disney’s most iconic villains.
- Trick-or-Treat Trails:Â Free trick-or-treating stations scattered across all lands, complete with complimentary treat bags.
- Character Experiences & Overlays:Â Rare character meet-and-greets in costume alongside Halloween ride overlays.
Party Tip: While event hours run from 7:00 PM to Midnight, ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM to squeeze in extra park time before the party kicks off!
