This is a #DisneyMagicMoment indeed for 8 year-old boy, Jackson DeLude, as he tries out his new prosthetic legs for the first time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! As we know, your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort is simply magical and full of incredible memories for everyone! However, for Jackson DeLude and his mom Ashley, this experience must have been the most special, as not only was it their first trip to Walt Disney World Resort, but it was the first time Jackson walked using his new blades!
Jackson who was born without fully developed legs longed for the ability to run and be an active 8 year old. With the help of two kind NFL players from Buffalo Bills heard about Jackson and his story and wanted to help. Matt Milano and Gabriel Davis arranged for Jackson and his mum to fly to Orlando and have him fitted for two prosthetic legs!!
The two kind NFL players paid for everything, including a special trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios where Jackson and his mum rode the new attraction, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. According to Disney Parks Blog, Jackson told his mom at the end of the ride “that his cheeks hurt from smiling so much”. This is simply magical and a wonderful that Disney Parks Blog and Jackson’s family were able to share this special moment with us!
Jackson’s Christmas wish certainly came true this year, as he bounced and skipped his way through the theme park. Watch the video below to witness this heart-warming, unforgettable moment!
