50th Anniversary Golden Ribbon Turret Toppers Removed from Cinderella Castle Turrets. The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary ended on March 31st, 2023 and since then Disney crews have been working on Cinderella Castle to remove the overlay.
With the final banners and swag removed last week, and a giant crane sitting behind the Castle, it was just a matter of time before we started seeing the golden turret spiral toppers come down. Overnight they removed the left side turret toppers, and we would guess overnight tonight we shall see the other side being done, finally they will remove the highest ones someday really soon.
There is no word right now on if Cinderella Castle will get Disney100 banners or any overlay. We do know that The Walt Disney Company has stated Epcot will be the home of all things Disney 100 Years of Wonder.
