Holiday Festivities to Kick-off at Disneyland Starting November 10th

Disneyland Christmas

It’s official! Disneyland released word today that the Holiday’s at Disneyland Resort will officially kick off on November 10, 2017 and will run through January 7, 2018. Regulars to Disneyland during the Christmas season will be pleased to know that many of the special holiday offerings that you’ve come to know and love will be back for another spectacular year. Here’s a quick taste of what’s in store:

Disney California Adventure Park: 

“World of Color – Season of Light” – The dazzling mix of water projections, pyrotechnics, music and special effects will be back to dazzle visitors for another year.  Watch as Paradise Bay is transformed into a winter wonderland.

“Festival of the Holidays” –  A fun-filled festival filled with holiday food and entertainment including the much-loved “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” celebration.  There will also be a Festive Foods Marketplace offering a mouthwatering array of holiday comfort foods spanning many diverse cultures and family traditions.

Santa Claus – Father Christmas himself will be making a return to find out whether Disneyland visitors have been naughty or nice.  You’ll find him with his elves at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

Cars Land – Wonderfully whimsical Christmas decorations will be on display at this much-loved section of the park.  A snowcar will greet guests on the road to Radiator Springs, and each address along Route 66 from Flo’s V-8 Cafe to the Cozy Cone Motel will receive a holiday makeover.

“a bug’s land –  This themed area will also undergo a magical holiday transformation as Flik and his friends deck out the land with oversized lights and ornaments.

50-foot Christmas tree  – The giant tree will once again appear in all its Christmas splendor on Buena Vista Street.

Disneyland: 

Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle – This iconic centrepiece at Disneyland will be the focal point of magical nighttime snowfall moments that conclude with “Believe … in Holiday Magic” fireworks and its stirring snowfall finale.

Christmas Tree in Town Square, Main Street, U.S.A. – This 60-foot tall beauty will be filled with an incredible 1,800 ornaments.  It’s a Disneyland Christmas tradition that needs to be seen to be believed.

“A Christmas Fantasy” – This daily Christmas-themed procession will feature floats, music, marching “tin soldiers” and most importantly Santa!

Santa Claus – Will also be on hand to meet Disneyland guests from his special hideaway in Critter Country.

“it’s a small world” Holiday  – This classic Disneyland attraction gets a much-loved holiday makeover each year with the children around the world celebrating their distinctive holiday traditions.

Haunted Mansion Holiday –  Haunted Mansion get’s a Tim Burton-esque makeover as Jack Skellington and his friends cause a collision between Christmas and Halloween.

In addition, Downtown Disney, the Disneyland Resort’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district, as well as Disneyland Resort’s on-site hotels, will join in the festivities with twinkling lights and ornaments, holiday displays, special entertainment and holiday dining with themed menus.
