A local Brooklyn New York ice cream shop may be heading to Walt Disney World!
In 2011 husband and wife team created The Ample Hills Creamery. It is a big success in New York, all the ice cream is hand-made, as well as all the add ons, the milk comes from grass-fed cows and the sugar is organic!
To the couples surprise, Bob Iger, chief executive officer of The Walt Disney Company fell in love with it! Iger became the couples mentor and advisor. Ample Hills then secured a license to produce a Star Wars themed ice cream. The ice cream comes in two flavors, the Dark Side (an ultra-dark chocolate ice cream with espresso fudge brownies, cocoa crispies, and white chocolate pearls to represent the light still hiding in the dark, waiting to burst through) and Light Side (a bright marshmallow ice cream with homemade crispie clusters, as well as a smattering of handmade cocoa crispies to represent the dark side still lurking within the light).
We all know there is a new ice cream shop that will replace Seashore Sweets on the Boardwalk in Walt Disney World, many people are saying Ample Hill Creamery ice cream may be going there! This ice cream would be a large improvement to what is there now! The ice cream shop is currently being built on what was previously ESPN Club arcade, right next door to the BoardWalk Bakery. (sorry photo above was the closest one we had)
There has been no official announcement therefore this is all just hear-say!
