Embark on a Culinary Journey in Pandora – The World of Avatar

Dine like a Na’vi during your journey to Pandora – The World of Avatar, at the land’s quick service restaurant Satu’li Canteen. Upon entering Satu’li Canteen, you will be awe of the decor. Instantly transported to a time when peace has come to the relationship between the Na’vi natives and the humans on Pandora; you will experience the new-found friendship that exists between the two cultures.

The menu boasts unique cuisine, although mildly exotic in flavor, there is something for everyone to enjoy with the options to customize your own dish! Guests of the Satu’li Canteen can enjoy customizing their own bowls in a three-step process. You’ll start with a base of quinoa and vegetable salad; red and sweet potato hash; mixed whole-grain and rice or romaine and kale salad.  Then you will move on to select a protein of your choice, wood-grilled chicken, slow-roasted beef, sustainable fish or chili-spiced fried tofu. Finish off your dish with one of the sauces offered, a charred onion chimichurri, black bean vinaigrette or creamy herb dressing.

The menu also includes steamed “pods” – bao buns, but don’t be put off by their appearance! The pods come in cheeseburger or vegetable options, stuffed with ground beef, ketchup, mustard, pickle, and cheddar cheese, or eggplant, cauliflower, sweet potato, carrots, and shallot cilantro cream.

There are plenty of options for our younger guests as well, including kid’s favorites like cheese quesadilla and “Teylu” an all beef hot dog wrapped in dough.

With two delicious options available, you won’t want to pass on dessert! Choose from a Blueberry Cheesecake with Passion Fruit Curd or Chocolate Cake with a Crunchy Cookie Layer, Banana Cream and Goji Berries.

Satu’li Canteen also offers a selection of craft beers:

• Avatar Private Label Green Ale
• Avatar Private Label Amber Ale

If  beer isn’t your drink of choice, you can also choose from a selection of wines.  Pandoran blend sangria and  two wines on tap:

• Banshee Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast)
• Banshee Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast)

A non-alcoholic blend of tropical juices served in a souvenir cup with a removable, playable pan flute, is available as well.

With it’s opening, Satu’li Canteen will be the first Disney restaurant to offer Mobile Order. You can now choose to order and pay for your meals on-the-go right from your My Disney Experience app, bypassing the line when you arrive at the restaurant. The Disney Dining Plan is accepted at this dining location, but Mobile Order only accepts credit cards.
Before ending your journey on Pandora, be sure to grab a refreshing drink from Pongu Pongu, Pandora’s specialty beverage kiosk. “Pongu Pongu” means “party party” according to the legend, this kiosk was built as a place for all to gather and socialize, by a human who befriended the local Na’vi clan.

Pongu Pongu‘s signature drink is the Night Blossom -frozen limeade with layered flavors of Granny Smith Apple and Desert Pear topped with bursting mango boba balls. If you’re looking for an alcoholic option, Pongu Pongu offers the Mo’ara Margarita – Sauza Tequila with Strawberry and Blood Orange flavors, topped with strawberry boba ball, as well as two draft beers. All beverages can be purchased in a tiki-inspired mug with an Avatar “juju” light-up cube, for an additional price.

The kiosk also offers one snack, Pongu Lumpia – a Pineapple cream cheese spring roll, which qualifies as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan!
