Not long ago, we announced that George Clooney had officially signed on to star in Bard Bird’s new sci-fi film, ‘1952’, written by Damon Lindelof. There’s much secrecy surrounding the project at this time, but thanks to the official D23 twitter, we’ve just learned something new and exciting. The film we’d come to know as ‘1952’ is actually to be titled ‘Tomorrowland’. Even more interesting, is the photo Brad Bird recently put on twitter, pictured above, that shows some of the things that inspired the film. There’s not a lot there, and all it will do is lead to more speculation, but you’ll notice that one of the pictures is of Walt Disney himself. This is all very interesting and exciting, and I really can’t wait to see just what the film is about.
Could it possibly have to do with what inspired Walt Disney to build Tomorrowland in the Disney parks? Or could this just be something different that has nothing to do with it at all. All the unknown variables surrounding the project right now are really making me giddy for the movie, and the speculation about the film is really going to keep me invested in its production, so you can be sure I’ll be posting more news as it becomes available, only here on Chip and Company! Are you excited for ‘Tomorrowland’, and do you have any theories on what it could be about? Let me know in the comments below!
