It now holds the record as the fastest animated MPA release and the fastest PG-rated film to ever reach this milestone.

Zootopia 2 has achieved legendary status in China, shattering multiple historic records. It now holds the title for the highest animated opening for a non-local film with a staggering $272 million and became the highest-grossing non-local animated film in just five days. Currently, with an estimated $447 million to date, it sits as the #2 MPA release of all time in China, trailing only Avengers: Endgame. This success cements Disney’s dominance in the region, with the studio now claiming three of the top five highest-grossing MPA titles ever released in the Chinese market.
