Zootopia 2 Claims the Top Spot on Disney+
Following its historic run as the highest-grossing animated Hollywood film of all time, Zootopia 2 is now dominating the streaming charts with a massively successful debut on Disney+. The film’s record-breaking momentum has translated seamlessly to the small screen, proving that the appetite for Judy and Nick’s latest adventure remains higher than ever.
In its first seven days on the platform, Zootopia 2 amassed a staggering 32 million global views, comfortably securing the #1 spot on Disney+ during its premiere week. This success has further solidified the Zootopia franchise—which includes the original film and the Zootopia+ series—as a streaming powerhouse with over 885 million hours watched worldwide.
The original Zootopia continues to be a juggernaut, currently ranking as the #7 Disney+ movie of all time. According to Nielsen, it has been one of the most-streamed films across all platforms in the U.S. for three of the last six years.
These streaming milestones follow a historic theatrical run where Zootopia 2 earned $1.9 billion at the global box office. On top of becoming the highest-grossing animated release in history, it now stands as the eighth highest-grossing film of all time and the #1 domestic release of 2025.
