Attention all parents! Hunker down because Disney Jr. is about to rock your kid’s prehistoric world! Fresh off the heels of other successful Disney Jr. content, Dinsey Channel has provided us with a first look at their newest option “Gigantosaurus!”
We recently heard about the upcoming “Mira, Royal Detective,” but this one has dinos, and we all know that if there is one thing kids adore…it’s those loveable lizards!
Geared more towards pre-schoolers, this CGI animated feature will be available much sooner compared to “Mira.” It’ll premiere next month! You can view it on the Disney Channel or on the DisneyNOW app starting in January.
So what’s the show’s premise? We’ve got you covered there too! France-based Cyber Group Studios will be producing the show, and chairman/ CEO Pierre Sissman had this to say:
“Children have always been fascinated by dinosaurs and they will immediately relate to these unique characters, who, like them, are just beginning to assert their independence and learn about the importance of being themselves and being a good friend.”
The show will follow a group of four identifiable characters who will find themselves in all sorts of high jinx while they search for the mysterious origins of Gigantosaurus! Some light was shed on the four main characters as well:
Mazu, who’s inquisitive.
Tiny, who’s playful.
Bill, who’s timid.
Rocky, who’s courageous.
This new feature is sure to flood the market soon! Expect it to be a kid favorite and to see it everywhere. We’re certain that it will be immediately loveable and a perfect watch for your little ones (and you). Be sure to set those DVRs as it premieres at 9 a.m. EST on Friday, Jan 18th!
