You need to try a new Sicilian cuisine-inspired brunch at Maria & Enzo’s in Disney Springs. Sunday brunch use to be a staple in our house, then the pandemic hit, and most restaurants closed for brunch. Now, Brunch is back all over Disney World, but none more spectacular than the one served at Maria & Enzo’s in Disney Springs.
Maria & Enzo’s actually premiered the new Sicilian cuisine-inspired brunch back in December, but we have not had a chance to try it out until this past weekend.
Where to start? How about the decor? An elegant Italian trattoria set in a stylish airline terminal built in the 1930s. With 2 story windows overlooking Saratoga Springs Resort, and the Aerophile hot air balloon. At nighttime, you can see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. The stunning view is immediately noticeable when you walk through the doors and down a grand staircase when you are seated.

The servers are very knowledgeable and will spend the time to walk you through the full brunch menu (which you can see below). Not only that, but they are attentive and fun. If you have an allergy they will figure out how best to serve your needs. We have a berry allergy, and they made sure to not cross-contaminate anything, and served the strawberries on the side, so the others at the table could still enjoy them.
BRUNCH

SPAGHETTI CARBONARA AMERICANA
thick-cut spaghetti, parmigiana, applewood bacon, soft poached egg | 28
FRITTATA AL FORNO

SMOKED SALMON BOARD
tomatoes, red onion, capers, chive mascarpone, hard-boiled eggs, toasted schiacciata bread | 24
EGGS BENEDETTO

The highlight for us was the Crunch Toast, it should not have been that good. Not being a hazelnut Nutella fan, but it was decadent tasting. The Toast was perfect, crunch on the outside, but the inside was pure fluff! Very pleasant tasting. The mascarpone was delicious.
Being able to just sit around and nosh on the Salmon Board was delightful. We kept it on the table during our whole meal and kept going back to it. There may be nothing better than fresh salmon and capers with red onions.
The carbonara is an interesting choice, not unpleasant. Just not something we would personally choose. Now that is totally on us, we have never had thick-cut pasta during a breakfast-type meal. As a lunch item, it would make sense, as the flavors were very good. This is not a negative, so please don’t think it is.
As for completing our meal, we had
DRINKABLE DESSERTS- Chocolate Covered Berry, Pistachio Dream, Lemon Cream Pie. | 22
Now that is something to write home about! When we go back, which we will be going back, I would love to sit around while the fireworks go off, and drink dessert!
Seriously, if you are looking to spend time with the family and enjoy a full experience restaurant, with a Sicilian cuisine-inspired brunch that has been well thought out, Maria & Enzo’s brunch is the place to go. From the Decor to the staff, to the amazing Sicilian cuisine-inspired brunch, to the drinks, it all works so well together.
We don’t do star ratings or anything like that, but if we did Maria & Enzo’s Sicilian cuisine-inspired brunch would be at the very top.
