You can be the next Disneyland Ambassador!

Have you wanted to be a Disney ambassador? Disneyland is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 ambassadors!

Disneyland ambassadors Justin Rapp and Rafa Barron were the 2019-2020 ambassadors. They expected their final day to be December 31, 2020 but due to the pandemic, their tenure was extended through 2021. These two have been amazing at representing the cast around the world, acting as official host and spokespersons and the Disneyland emissaries of goodwill to the world.

They recently announced the new application process on the Disneyland Ambassador Instagram page:

The post reads:

“Could you be the next #DisneyAmbassador?! Today’s the day…we are now accepting applications for the next Disney Ambassador of the Disneyland Resort. Cast Members, swipe up in our Instagram story for all the details, or check the HUB. Who knows, this just may be you on YOUR first day as a Disney Ambassador.”

You can be the next Disneyland Ambassador!

Not just anyone can be a Disneyland Ambassador. In order to be an ambassador, you need to have been employed by the Disneyland Resort for at least one year and have a deep knowledge of the Resort as well as the Walt Disney Company.

You’ll also need to be able to represent yourself well as you’ll be doing a lot of television and radio interviews, not to mention speaking at lots of public events! Disneyland Ambassadors will also take part in VoluntEars events, visit sick children at the local children’s hospital monthly, as well as cross-train with cast members across the Disneyland Resort.

Applicants are invited to attend Ambassador 101 sessions, where the current team presents the expectations and realities of the role. There are several rounds of interviews that conclude with a semi-finalist pool and then a final pool of candidates.

The Ambassadors are usually chosen in October or November to give them time to go through extensive training prior to the January 1 start date.

Good luck to all those who apply! We can’t wait to find out who the new Disneyland Ambassadors are!
