Disneyland Paris is celebrating Mickey’s 90th birthday with Pierre Hermé, a world-renowned French Pastry Chef. Creating for a limited time only, a one-of-a-kind dessert in the shape of the loveable, iconic mouse!
Vogue Magazine hails Pierre Hermé as “The Picasso of Pastry”, is simply perfect for creating this beautiful dessert by combining bright colours and mouthwatering, citrusy flavours- sending your tastebuds down a road of culinary magic!
Chef Hermé has called this “Mickey Zest Party”, inspired by the traditional lemon meringue tart, this dessert is formed of a shortbread base in the shape of Mickey’s famous ears, a lemon filling on top, decorated with preserved lemon zest contrasted by the soft, fluffy lime- flavoured meringue, which is finished off with two chocolate circles of strawberry puree and dark chocolate- wow!
You can find this magical dessert at Walt’s- An American Restaurant in Disneyland Paris and at California Grill in the Disneyland Hotel from November 17 through January 6.
