World of Disney at Disney Springs has reopened to guests at the Walt Disney World Resort. This location and the World of Disney in Disneyland announced refurbishment plans in February. The Disney Springs store closed in phases so that guests could continue to shop while the work was being done.
Some of the newer sections are beginning to open back up. Signage lets guests know that the Grand Reveal will take place later this fall.
World of Disney definitely has a newer, fresher feel to the decor and structure.
The layout is much more open than before.

Each section is indicated by marquee letters above the merchandise.
The check out line is clearly marked and roped off. Guests can browse more merchandise while waiting in the queue.
Overall, we really enjoy the new layout at World of Disney. The new open concept will definitely make shopping a little easier. World of Disney is located at Disney Springs near the Lego Store and Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company. The entire store is expected to be open later this fall.
