Construction continues at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World. The resort is getting a makeover with Moana-themed décor and elements. One of those elements is the Great Ceremonial House.
The new porte-cochère roof is continuing to be worked on in front of the Monorail station. The roof is getting a colorful centerpiece.
Most of the roof is getting corrugated paneling on the sides. When the roof is complete, it will be raised into place on top of concrete columns in front of the Monorail station.
You can see only one side of the roof is finished. The paneling is purely structural and will be covered with some more themed pieces before completion.
