‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ Star Becomes Registered Nurse During COVID-19 Pandemic

‘Wizards of Waverly Place‘ Star Becomes Registered Nurse During COVID-19 Pandemic. Disney Channel star, Jennifer Stone, is best known by Disney Fans for her role as Harper Finkle, best friend of Alex Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place. Since the end of the series, Stone has been working towards her degree in nursing and recently shared the news that she moved up to a registered nurse amidst the Coronavirus outbreak.

Stone shared the news with a photo of her badge, minus the private information, and the caption, “A very good friend of mine (@maiarawalsh) pointed out to me that today is #worldhealthday . It is also the day I went from a volunteer, then a student nurse, and now an RN resident. I just hope to live up to all of the amazing healthcare providers on the front lines now as I get ready to join them.”

Wizards of Waverly Place is about Alex Russo and her brothers Justin and Max come from a long line of wizards and now must master their newly learned powers or lose them forever. Their dad, Jerry, gave up his powers when he married their mortal mom. The family business is Waverly Sub Station in busy Manhattan, and the three young wizards get into all sorts of crazy situations as they grow up facing typical teen challenges like school, friends, family and magic.

The popular series ran from 2007 through 2012 and also released a feature length Disney Channel Original Movie.

Congratulations to Jennifer on this major accomplishment and thank you to the unsung heroes staffed at hospitals helping to save lives around the world. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for all things Disney!
