Disney’s Winnie the Pooh U.S. Tour Will Go on Hiatus

Disney’s Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation will halt its U.S tour after playing at Charlotte, North Carolina’s Booth Playhouse February 24-26. The tour launched in September 2022 and was originally scheduled to run till May.

The vibrant production uses life-sized puppets and music from the Sherman Brothers, including “Winnie the Pooh,” “The Blustery Day,” and “The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers.” Inspired by A. A. Milne and their Disney animated adaptations, the entire gang from the Hundred Acre Wood has delighted audiences across the United States. Despite the pause of the U.S Tour, the UK adaptation of the show continues as planned.
