  1. We have never been on a Disney cruise, but it is our goal to go on a cruise someday soon!  And since I’m one of those psycho-planners, I want to know anything and everything that I would ever care to know about cruising on Disney and what to expect, as well as how to make the whole experience even more magical for my family.

  2. Disney cruises are the best. No photos from my last trip as my camera was stolen 🙁 Trying to keep the memories alive in my head.

  3. We are hoping to take a cruise after my sister and I graduate from our Master’s Programs!  Should be great fun….!

  4. I am a fan of chip and co and passporter-  I didn’t know this book exsited, so this would be very helpful on my first disney cruise this dec.!

  5. We have never been on a Disney Cruise, but after our first family trip next year to WDW we hope to do the cruise next.

  6. We went on our first DCL trip this past March on the Magic. We all totally fell in love! We have booked a few more and hope at some point to make the rounds on all four ships! For anyone on the fence, this mom of two preschoolers got a vacation too!

  7. We went on our first Disney cruise in June and we booked another for March before we got off the boat!! We loved it. Castaway Cay was our favorite part of the cruise – we enjoyed the beach with our 9 yo daughter for the morning, then she went to the kids club and we enjoyed the adult beach.  perfect day for everyone!!

  8. I have never been on a Disney cruise.  I am conflicted about the idea.  It seems exciting to be completely immersed in the Disney experience, but I also feel like there would be less to do than going to the Disney Parks.

  9. I went on my first Disney Cruise last November.  It was the best vaca ever.  You must do the Rainforest Room in the Spa.  It was heaven.

  10. I want to win it before i can buy it! I was lucky enough to go on the DVC member cruise last september! It was amazing! Tons of great FREE gifts too! Can’t wait to go on again in 2012! I will be going on a few times before that, as I am in the process of becoming a Disney travel specialist!

  11. We’ve been on many cruises but just took our first Disney cruise for our son’s 4th birthday in April.  We figured it would be a good trip…a nice change of venue from WDW, etc.  We were absolutely blown away by how much the Disney service touch can enhance the cruise experience.  It was amazing fun and great relaxation all at the same time.  The food, the activities, the port excursions all offer literally something that any family can enjoy.  So well thought out and executed…we immediately booked for 2012 out of NYC 🙂

  13. We went on the 4 day and on the 7 day both were incredible but the 4 day was to short!  Anyone have questions about the cruises just ask!

  17. I’ve heard that they have activities for the kids, so maybe you won’t feel guilty about some time for yourself?

  18. I’ve never been on a cruise, but have listened to the Passporter Moms podcast about Disney cruises.  Now I’ve decided it is something I NEED to do!

  21. Love both Disney and the Cruise line.  Went on a cruise a few years ago.  Had the then-current Passporter with me (and son). Would love to go on another DisneyCruise.

  26. I actually had this book on order with B&N online and they cancelled it since they will not be getting it in stock in time.  This is actually the 2nd order that was cancelled on me as I tried to order the previous version of the book as well and apparently that one never came in as well :o(.  Actually getting my hands on a copy would be great!

  27. The Passporter guides are a must for any Disney trip.  We took our first Disney cruise in December of 2010.  I sort of expected that 3 nights of our WDW trip to be the most dull, but we LOVED it!  The cruise was very fun, relaxing & entertaining in it’s own unique way.  We have booked another cruise, 7 nights this time, for 2012.  My only tip:  relax & enjoy.  Get early dining if you are traveling with young children.

  28. One of my drams is to go on a Disney cruise.  Thinking about going next year or maybe the next.  Need to save up a lot of money to do it.  For a family of 5 we have to have the bigger expensive room.

  30. I’ve never been but I’d love to go with my fiance.  We’re most excited for the adults only areas, like the lounges and pool.  An adults only trip is with DCL would be so romantic!

  35. We are big PassPorter fans.  We try to buy a new book everytime we go to Disney. Some of ours are quite worn out with travel tip pages remnoved! Love it

  36. …one more tip is to be sure to turn off your cell once the ship leaves port.  Otherwise it will constantly attempt to look for a signal and charge you for ROAMING!  Yikes one of my girlfriends at work found that out the hard way.

  41. we did the Mexican Riviera cruise in March…sooooo much fun that we rebooked the Fantasy November 2012.  My tip is to bring a power strip with you!  You will need it for your room, there are minimal outlets in the rooms.
