We are 6 days into our month long GIVEAWAY celebration on Chip and Company. We are pushing to get 5000 Facebook Fans by July 31st. I have a whole month of surprises and HUGE giveaways planned. So please help us spread the word about Chip and Co on Facebook.
On the heels of our Passporter Giveaway today Mamabargains.com was nice enough to supply us with $30 Gift Certificate to their website.
Never heard of Mamabargains? Here is a little information about this wonderful site:
Mamabargains.com ~ The word of mom says our deals are so hot, they’re almost free! Every single item, ALWAYS 40-80% off it’s retail value.
Here is the most important part of our website: WE OFFER MORE THAN ONE DEAL A DAY! We just do it one deal at a time. We don’t list items at a certain time of the day, it’s very random, mysterious and completely unplanned what products we will feature and when they will feature. You need to keep checking back throughout the day to find new deals, once one is gone, you will see another new deal immediately after! Most days you will see anywhere between 2-10 deals during the entire 24 hour period of time, so it pays to keep checking back. You snooze, you lose – you don’t want to miss out on something, so be sure to refresh your browser, or follow us on twitter or facebook, you will see updates on these pages whenever a new item pops up, and remember, this will happen more than one time every day!
The original one hot deal at a time website for super cool moms (and dads!) made just for you, by you. Just watch the little mom heading towards the words “all gone”, and once she gets there – you are fresh out of luck – that product is no longer up for grabs!
We gear our products for parents and children ages birth to 10 and will have such a variety, you won’t want to miss a single deal! Our vendors are top notch reputable companies who are respected in their industry, and we strive to get their products to you at rock bottom prices!
I keep a tab open on my Firefox browser and everytime I sit down at the computer I refresh the Mamabargains.com page to see what kind of deal is running at that time. I have read they also will text message you when new deals become available. Now that is cool!
Ok now onto the Giveaway details.

I love to shop and I love to save. I like to look at saving as a game. I get a rush when I get a good deal.
We save all our change and I try to save all $5.00 bills that I can. We like going in Sept. for free dining and low crowds.
saving all change,&yard sales
i cut coupons, dont use the dryer and i hang my clothes old school style, and i make a menu and only buy what i need at the grocery store and lots more : )
We save money for Disney by couponing, saving change, selling stuff and more! 🙂
I cut lots of coupons from the paper and magazines, If i see a something, anything online i always hunt for coupon codes before i buy, check diffrent websites to compare, check diffrent weekly store advertisments, I refuse to run air conditioner if its not scorching hot. I try to recycle cans & plastics for money, and have a large cup we use to put in spare change laying around.
I coupon clip, and we put as much as possible on our Disney Visa for the Disney Rewards. We use it more like a debit card and never charge more than we have in our account, so we never carry a balance. I also try and only go during value seasons.
I do several things to save money for our Disney vacation. I am a big couponer and I shop only clearance racks – I will buy on clearance at the end of season for the following year. We also try to run our air conditioning and heat as little as possible. And we rarely go out to eat – we will certainly make up for this in Disney World! 🙂
We have a Disney Fund jar on top of our refrigerator that our kids decorated, and we throw loose change in it; it really adds up! We also put any gift cards we receive throughout the year in there if they can be used at Disney, and people tend to buy them for us because they know we use them. We have a Disney Visa and use the Rewards Card for spending money in the parks. We host a couple of yard sales throughout the year and only use that money for Disney, as it’s “extra” money.
Winning this gift would help me save money for WDW. I can spend the $30 at WDW instead of paying something from the website out of my pocket.
I save money by shopping at Walmart and buying things on sale!
Huge, huge Disney fan! Just got back in June and will be going back in February. Would love to win the gift certificate!!!!!!
We have a mayo jar (kind of like a cookie jar haha) – where we put our change, extra cash, every day. When we get up to $25 we put the money into our “disney” fund. This way we don’t keep change laying around to spend on other things!
We are putting all spare change in a jar on our dresser. I have also been a coupon newbie and am counting all my “savings” as earnings towards our vacation. I am using Swagbucks, and Savingstar to earn other gift cards. Any money I can squeeze from somewhere will go to our budget. We also get our son involved by letting him earn “Disney dots”(simple Mickey stickers on a chart). For each 5 dots earned he is given $1.00 for spending at Disney. Two years ago when we did this, he had over $165.00 to spend (just for helping out and doing what he is told).
i use the disney visa card for extra $. also, since our kids are so young and have just about every toy out there (not my doing, talk to the grandparents) i have been asking that relatives get them, or me & my husband, gift cards for things like birthdays, anniversaries, or other “holidays” that they feel compelled to purchase the kids something. that way, they will have their own spending money and we won’t be putting out as much cash for their extras!
Those are some great tips Becky!
I save all my change and I also use my swagbucks for paypal and then buy disney giftcards with my paypal account. I also put $10 a week into a savings account. So I have $520 each year without doing anything. 🙂
We use our tax return to pay for our disney trip among other things & save money any way I can by clipping coupons & watching for great deals 🙂
I’m saving everyway I can to save for Disney.
I’m saving everyway I can to save for Disney.
We put our tax return in a ShareSavings account so that we can’t touch it, and earn some interest in the process. It ends a month before our trip so we’ll have all of the money in time to go. We also clip coupons, and I consign my daughter’s clothes, and then buy her next season’s worth of clothes at the same sales so that I save a ton of money on her wardrobe. I also have the Disney Visa card, and load up a points card before I go.
I try to collect samples, cut out coupons, save coins all year and roll them up before we go to WDW. We also do yard sales before vaca. We also try to go to WDW when they are having free dining or other specials.
i clip lots of coupons, and follow lots of blogs looking for deals.
I have the Disney visa debit and credit card which helps add money to our disney fund through points which then are loaded onto a disney card to spend at disney world, the stores, movies, or shows (unfortunately chase ended the debit card one this july)
