Willem Dafoe Reportedly Seen on Set of ‘Spider-Man Homecoming 3‘ as Green Goblin. The closer we get to the release of Spider-Man 3, or as Marvel Studios is calling it, Homecoming 3, the more bonkers the story seems to get. From rumored returns of cast members of the previous Spider-Man films to the inclusion of new variations of beloved characters from other MCU titles, the set up and integration between WandaVision, Homecoming 3 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is bound to spin a few webs and connect stories we never thought possible until now.

Marvel Studios is wasting no effort to keep Marvel fans on their toes as we enter Phase 4 of the MCU. With major players such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow seemingly departing from the MCU, it comes as no surprise that Marvel needs to do something BIG to keep audiences returning to the screen for years to come. What better way to pull in fans than the giant web of interconnecting stories and an unprecedented collaboration between studios and casts?

Well it seems the rumors are true and several characters will be reprising their roles for the new Spider-Man film, with the latest rumors citing Willem Dafoe was seen on set and will reprise his role as Green Goblin/Norman Osborn.

Willem Dafoe played the iconic role of Norman Osborn, aka the Green Goblin and father to Peter Parker’s best friend Harry Osborn in the first Spider-Man film starring Tobey Maguire. Several actors from the Tobey Maguire led Spider-Man trilogy including Willem Dafoe, Tobey Maguire, Kristen Dunst, and Alfred Molina, are said to have joined the cast for the upcoming MCU canon Spider-Man film led by Tom Holland, along with many cast members from The Amazing Spider-Man films led by Andrew Garfield.
