Disney+ has hundreds of movies and shows available for your viewing pleasure, but there are many missing such as Toy Story 4. Disney has confirmed we will see Toy Story 4, among other films, on Disney+ within a year of the streaming service release. Some films released in cinemas in 2019 like Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame has already been seen on Disney+. So when will we see Toy Story 4?
If we are going by the “within a year” we could be waiting until at least November 2020, but we are hoping to see these releases sooner. That could be a possibility! According to Newsweek, In general, films are set to appear on the service four months after their DVD and BluRay release. The film was released on home entertainment formats on October 8, 2019, meaning that, if the sequel follows suit it will come to Disney+ in early February 2020.
Fans may also notice Toy Story 4 is not the only missing Toy Story content. We have yet to see the three Toy Story Toons shorts, plus Toy Story of Terror, Toy Story That Time Forgot and the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command TV series on the Disney+ service and there is no indication as to if or when these will be on the platform.
Since there is no actual confirmation of when Toy Story 4 will be released we will just have to watch the other Toy Story related material available. Currently, all three of the Toy Story films are available to watch. In addition, fans can watch the new animated series Forky Asks a Question voiced by Tony Hale. Plus, coming soon to Disney+ is the short film Lamp Life featuring Bo Peep during her hiatus between Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 4.
