Universal Orlando Resort™ has a comprehensive Severe Weather Policy that allows guests to reschedule or cancel their vacations without penalty under certain conditions. If a hurricane or tropical storm warning is issued by the National Hurricane Center, or a state of emergency is declared for Orlando or your home, within seven days of your arrival, you’re eligible to make changes to your vacation package, hotel reservations, or park tickets without facing cancellation or change fees. However, airline tickets booked as part of a package may still incur fees, depending on the airline’s policies.

For those who have booked through a third-party, travel agent, or tour operator, it’s best to contact them directly, as their policies may differ. Keep in mind that the storm policy does not cover special events, group bookings, or reservations made after a storm warning has been issued.
