Universal Studios Hollywood Introduces First-Ever Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass

Universal Studios Hollywood is turning up the fear factor—and the flavor—for Halloween Horror Nights 2025, and this year’s event is serving up something brand-new: the Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass. For the first time ever, guests can purchase a single pass that unlocks a feast of terrifyingly tasty treats across the park during HHN.

What Is the Dining Pass?

The HHN Dining Pass is designed to make sampling the event’s wild food lineup easier (and a little less haunting on your wallet). Each pass includes:

  • 6 total items: 2 entrées and 4 sides, snacks, desserts, or beverages
  • Eligible items clearly marked on participating menu boards with the Universal Dining Pass logo
  • Valid only on the date of purchase at HHN food and beverage locations

It’s a simple way for hungry haunt fans to dig into multiple creepy culinary creations without worrying about racking up receipts at every booth.

Fearsome Foods on the Menu

Executive Chef Julia Thrash and her team have gone all-out again this year, crafting immersive, horror-inspired bites tied to the event’s haunted houses and scare zones. Some highlights include:

  • Fallout Zone Bites: Loaded Cram Fries with chili-glazed spam, Roasted Radroach Legs (blackened turkey wings), Gulper Stew, and the Insta-worthy Rad Away lemonade served in a blood bag.
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s: Classic cheese and pepperoni pizza straight from Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria.
  • Terrifier Treats: Art’s Bloody Masterpiece Donut and lemon-raspberry Sunflower Glasses cookie sandwich.
  • Jason Universe BBQ: Pamela’s Smoked Brisket Mac & Cheese, a 22” Crystal Lake Campfire Dog, and Jason’s Mask S’more.
  • SLASH Bar: Thai tacos, Slash’s Top Hat sponge cake with mango-habanero gelee, and themed cocktails like Night Train and The Danse of the Dead.
  • Chucky’s Dive Bar: Creepy cocktails like Playtime’s Over and Friend Till the End topped with cotton candy.
  • Dia de Los Muertos Plaza: Birria tacos with red consomé, carne asada nachos, and a full lineup of colorful margaritas.
  • Universal Tower Snacks: Walking Tacos made with FRITOS® or Tostitos®, plus the CHEETOS® Flamin’ Hot Fire Dog.

Yes, even the Pickle Milk Shake–style oddities are in the mix, proving that HHN’s food offerings are as daring as its haunted houses.

Why This Pass Is a Game-Changer

Halloween Horror Nights has long been about more than just haunted houses. The food has become an attraction in its own right, and with menus themed to Fallout, Terrifier, Jason, Chucky, and more, the Dining Pass encourages guests to sample across the park instead of sticking to just one zone.

For frequent visitors or foodies tackling HHN on a single night, the Dining Pass is a smart way to maximize both value and variety. Considering entrée portions alone, the pass could easily save guests money compared to buying everything separately.

When and Where to Get It

The Halloween Horror Nights Dining Pass is available for purchase online in advance or at participating restaurants inside Universal Studios Hollywood. It’s only valid on the date selected, and restrictions apply.

With HHN running September 4 through November 2, 2025, this spooky new pass is sure to be a popular pick alongside Express passes and RIP Tours.

So whether you’re braving Monstruos 3, battling Denji’s foes in Chainsaw Man: The Chaos, or dodging chainsaws in Carnival of Carnage, you can fuel up with a meal plan that’s just as frightful as the haunted houses.
