We finally tried the Pickle Corn dog in Disneyland with Peanut Butter Dipping Sauce. In April 2021 Disneyland started selling one of the most controversial snacks. Social media was flooding with hatred or true love for this exciting food creation, and now, almost a year and a half later we have finally tried it.

When the Panko Crusted Pickle Stuffed with a Hot Dog was released we all made jokes about how this was a pregnant woman’s dream snack because seriously who else would ever try such an abomination of a Disney snack? The room was divided, you either loved it and tried it, or you flooded our Instagram with gross emojis.

I gotta say, I was really looking forward to trying the Pickle Corn Dog from Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs in Downtown Disney, and got the chance to eat it finally when we visited over the weekend for the 2022 D23 Expo.

I loved it, I was amazed at how good this actually tasted. We do not have one complaint or idea of how to change it in any way. Even the peanut butter dipping sauce works really well with the flavors. Each corn dog is made to order and takes about 6 minutes, and that means when you cut or bite into it, the hot dog was steaming hot, and the pickle flavor works really well while hot.

It’s hard to go wrong with a classic Disneyland corn dog, but you can pick up some unique twists on the treat at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs. Aside from the original, guests can also try a Golden Dragon Panko-Crusted Corn Dog—and keep an eye out for even more offerings like their limited-time Pickle Corn Dog and Giant Mozzarella Stick!
