The popular navigation app, “Waze,” just made your journey a million times more exciting since they added a new, limited time navigator to their team. Everybody welcome one of our favorite Sesame Street friends! Cookie Monster is his name and helping you find your final destination is his game, especially if it entails anything with cookies.
Cookie Monster has been given this exciting opportunity as a birthday gift, which was on Nov 2. However, this means that he will only be a guest on the app for a limited amount of time so enjoy him while you can.
The way to change the voice in the app is simple! All you have to do is open your ‘Waze’ application and click on the ‘Search’ bar on the bottom of the map screen. From there, it will open a side bar with a ‘Settings’ icon in the top left corner (above your profile picture.) Once in settings, click on the ‘Voice and Sound’ tab and then ‘Waze Voice.’ Finally, scroll down until you see the option for Cookie Monster, and you’re all set!
This will be especially helpful when trying to navigate while on vacation if you’re heading to any of the Florida theme parks. I know I’ll look forward to hearing Cookie Monster’s wonderful voice the next time I head to Disney!
