‘WandaVision‘ Star Paul Bettany Wants to Return as Dryden Vos for New ‘Star Wars’ Projects. Many would say at the time of the films release that Solo: A Star Wars Story wasn’t an instant hit for many fans and didn’t receive a lot of love from the Star Wars community who felt the story didn’t warrant a trip to the theater at the time, but changed their minds after seeing the film premiere on services such as Netflix and Disney+.
Recently, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany spoke with Jake Hamilton regarding the new Marvel series, when Jake asked Paul how he would feel reprising his roles from previous films when Bettany shared he would love to revisit his villainous role of Dryden Vos from Solo: A Star Wars Story. Bettany stated, “I would love to mess around with Dryden Vos. I would love [extra emphasis] to mess around with Dryden Vos. I love that idea.”
Despite no confirmations of a direct Solo sequel or prequel in the works at Lucasfilm, multiple sources for Disney have said that with Disney+ there are numerous possibilities for new content that could premiere on the service that we wouldn’t get to see in theaters or on standard television. We also know of a Lando Calrissian series coming to the popular streaming service, but it has not been made clear if the series will star Billy Dee Williams or Donald Glover, with a chance of getting to see both actors in the series as well.
Could we get to see more Dryden Vos? Would you be excited to learn more about the Crimson Sun in the Star Wars Universe? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Wars and Marvel!
