Walt Disney World Railroad tracks being laid in the Magic Kingdom. The excitement is real folk! We are closer and closer to the reopening of the Walt Disney World Railroad every day. We are daily seeing new work being completed on the tracks that have been missing for 3 years now.
Yesterday at Disney’s Magic Kingdom we got to personally witness new tracks being laid in Fantasyland Train Station. Crews were out on an electric vehicle that runs on the tracks adding rock to just placed tracks leading to the Tron Lightcycle PowerRun Roller Coaster. These tracks were originally torn out to make way for the new coaster to be constructed.
With the new tunnel being almost completed running under Tron Coaster, crews are now laying the tracks back down and backfilling them with rocks to stabilize the tracks in place. You can check out the video below.
