There are some parking restrictions about to be set in place around Walt Disney World properties you should keep an eye out for! The only way you will be able to park at these resorts are if you are a hotel guest or with a confirmed dining reservation. For some, this will be a welcome adjustment, while others will have a hard time with the crackdown on parking. You may use valet if it is avalible, but otherwise, you will be directed to park elsewhere.
These are the resorts effected come early January:
- Disney’s Polynesian Resort
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- Disney’s Boardwalk Resort (very limited parking may be available)
We have been keeping you up to date on the constant changes with parking around the Walt Disney World Properties. Just back in October, I brought you the news of the price increase for parking at the parks. Take a look at the new pricing:
Automobile: Was $22 now $25.00
Oversized: Was $27 now $30.00
Preferred: Was $45 now $50.00
Guests pay one fee for a parking pass good all day at all 4 theme parks—Magic Kingdom park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Our special preferred parking lots are located conveniently close to the theme park entrances. All parking fees include applicable sales tax. Registered Guests of Disney Resort Hotels, select Annual Passholders, Premium Passholders and Disney Premier Passport holders may enjoy complimentary standard self-parking at Disney theme parks.
