Walt Disney Company Strikes Deal With Google Fiber

The Walt Disney Company had made a deal with Google Fiber to add its cable network channels that include ESPN, ABC Family and Disney Channel to Google’s new broadband TV service that is launching in the Midwest.  In addition to these networks Google will also carry ABC News Now and the Disney XD channels.

Google Fiber is being rolled out in Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS.  To get this service there is a $300 upfront fee to wire your house with fiber.  Google Fiber’s monthly fee will be $120 and will include TV and Internet.

If Google Fiber becomes available in your area will you consider buying it?  Let us know what you think!
