Walkway between Disney's Grand Floridian and the Magic Kingdom in the works

This is no joke… Unlike my April fools joke from this year, Disney has actually filed a permit to build a Walkway between Disney’s Grand Floridian and the Magic Kingdom!

Other than the permit being filed with the state of Florida, no other information has been released.

As soon as Disney released more information we will have the news here on Chip and Co!

Are you excited to be able to walk from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom? Or would you rather stick with a ferry or monorail?

Let me know in the comment box below.

  1. It’s another option especially at park close with the crunch that doesn’t involve people etc – it needs to be shaded and rain proof though

  2. I like the idea of being able to walk from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom. Instead of waiting for the monorail or ferry, it will provide an opportunity for exercise, which is never a bad thing. Plus, you will be able to enjoy new views of the Grand Floridian and Cinderella Castle. Nice idea!.

  3. I’m always excited for new things at WDW, however, with so much filling up the sky line and less and less trees it is starting to look too busy. I love taking tons of pictures and they look awful with too many traffic flow items vs beautiful trees and flowers. I’m excited about it, if it is done to Disney’s full standards not just to get from point a to point b.
