Volcano at Rainforest Cafe in Disney Springs to Undergo Refurbishment

The Rainforest Cafe will be temporarily dormant as it undergoes a refurbishment

The Disney Springs skyline is about to get temporarily quieter, as the volcano at Rainforest Cafe is slated to undergo refurbishment.

Disney Springs veterans are all to familiar with the volcano at Rainforest Cafe, which erupts approximately every 30 minutes. This is obviously not a real volcano, and thus must undergo maintenance from time to time. The refurb is slated to begin this summer, and will serve to build upon the refurb that was completed in 2013 that enhanced the eruption effects of the volcano.

No timeline for the duration of the refurb has been announced.
