I had the joy of speaking with Vivian Lamolli of Hulu’s East Los High and here’s what you need to know about the show!
East Los High centers around kids in a high school In East Los Angeles California. The show not only deals with diverse issues but features an all Latino cast of characters. It’s currently just finished airing its second season which you can exclusively watch on Hulu along with the first season and be on the lookout for the upcoming third season!
Vivian was kind enough to tell me all about the show and the wonderful feedback she’s gotten from playing her role on the show. One of the main things I loved about speaking with her was her true love of the craft. From speaking with her I could tell she truly caught the acting bug. She speaks of her roles with such pride and love that it’s easy to see how she’s gotten so far so fast in her career. From playing Dionne in Hair which happens to be one of her favorite theatre roles to date to playing Filli in East Los High Vivan put high energy into everything she does which was clearly evident from speaking with her for only a few moments.
Starting in theatre Vivian caught the acting bug from a very young age. In fact she told me she always loved performing and started to see it as a career choice in high school. She followed her dreams and with that kind of determination I can truly see this lovely girl going so far in the industry.
Kind enough to ask me my name and to make sure she got it right before we even started the interview Vivian was a refreshing change from the fast paced interviews I’m used to. She took her time to answer and show how much she cared not only about the interview but about acting and performing as a whole. This spunky young girl is ready to take over the world! So watch out.
Don’t forget to follow her on social media and be on the lookout for her upcoming projects!
Stay tuned for more on Vivian!
