The doll is a miniature marvel of structural artistry, inspired by Viktor&Rolf’s iconic Spring/Summer 2019 “Fashion Statements” Haute Couture collection. That original runway show famously featured massive tulle gowns adorned with bold, ironic slogans—a theme that translates perfectly to a modern Cinderella who defines her own destiny.
The doll is styled in a sculptural haute couture gown crafted from layered tulle and intricate embroidery. In a nod to the digital age, this version of Cinderella carries a smartphone frozen eternally at 11:59 p.m., suggesting a Princess who is fully in control of her own timeline. Her legendary glass slippers have been reimagined as sparkling, transparent high heels, completing a look that honors the 1950 animated classic while pushing it firmly into the contemporary fashion world.
“Already as children, dolls functioned as ersatz runway fashion models that allowed us to dream,” said designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren. “This dreamy sense of wonder has never quite left us.”

“Create Your World” Documentary Series
To celebrate the artistry behind the doll, Disney will premiere a new 30-minute documentary special titled “Disney Princess: Create Your World – Viktor&Rolf and Mattel.” Launching March 24, 2026, on Hulu and ABC Owned Television Stations’ digital and streaming platforms, the special marks the third installment in the “Create Your World” series.
The episode offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, following previous high-profile collaborations with luxury brands Coperni and Pandora. Viewers will see how design and imagination converged to produce an elevated, high-fashion collectible that serves as the grand finale to Cinderella’s diamond anniversary.
